If you intend on using the ladder with out the awning just put the ladder on the other side.
That’s by I like this, I can use just the awning or integrate it into the tent as shown above, or use the other side if I don’t feel like dealing with the awning.

Nuthouse Industries is about the most set up to build what you want.
They are not cheap though, but I’ve never seen anything negative posted about build quality so certainly worth an email or phone call.

I have one.
It’s easy enough to set up. The instructions on how to attach the tunnel mount to the tent are abysmal.
It only goes on one way though so you’d have to be pretty dense to screw it up. It attaches via supplied epoxy.

2 Exped Mega Mat Duos in Medium length would fit sideways in the tent.
Basically 1 mat on each leaf of the RTT base.
You’d have around 16” at the head or foot end but I think they would fit rather well.

I just wish they offered them in a chrome housing, other wise I would have bought them.
But I did just wrap up my full D2S 4.0 retro fit with 50w ballasts and I’m super happy with the result.

There was a thread about the new James Baroud tunnel awning but it has been deleted for some reason.
It had great info on how to mount the awning as well as some info on a possible 270 degree version.
Anyone know why it was deleted?

I run 50psi out front and 30psi in the rear when I’m not towing.
I also have them on 17” wheels which makes a difference.
The truck looks silly with smaller tires...
The tunnel mounts to the tent via an end user applied plastic extrusion that is epoxied into place.
The epoxy is supplied with the tunnel kit.
I tucked the awning up as close to the tent as I could as well as overlapped the tent over the awning by about a half inch.
I’ll post some photos...
I e got 37s on my Ram with the AEV kit. I notice zero difference in driveability.
I run 50psi up front and 30 in the rear when unloaded and that has helped tremendously in ride quality.
40s with hydro assist will probably feel even better behind the wheel because the hydro is such an...
