Anyone familiar with sPod switching device used in vehicles?

Not to be a naysayer but I and others have had huge issues with the NL dual battery system and the Jeep JK 2012+. I have since switched to a Blue Sea ACR 7622 and my sPod is hooked to the aux battery and works with zero issues.

    yellowtop optima not holding charge?

Having gone through similar issues with a dual battery system and Diehard Platinums (re-badged Odyssey), the process you are going to have to work through before deciding the Optima battery is an issue, is if your whole system is charging properly to begin with or has the Optima been getting...

    Hard wiring a fridge

I will compare the wiring with some 10 gauge I have laying around, but no way it's 14 and I have had zero issues with the kit or it's connectors. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Hard wiring a fridge

The ARB kit I have is 8 gauge with the new style plug. It's very reliable and and threads into the outlet so it can't come loose. Not sure what ARB kit you are talking about...I have this one: http://www.quadratec.com/products/96010_1011.htm

    Hard wiring a fridge

For what it's worth, the ARB Fridge really seems to like it's own dedicated power line as opposed to piggybacking off other circuits. I noticed a big difference in efficiency when I switched to the ARB power kit. YMMV

Looking good! So does that still fit in a standard 7ft tall garage door opening?

    Trailer brake controller

Tekonsha P3 here as well with electric brakes on my Dexter axle, manual control on the bottom is great for easing the trailer off large rock ledges. Mine has been flawless so far.

    CB radio suggestions

Pretty much all the reasons I went with the Cobra 75wxst myself. Small footprint being key. Other than trail runs, I just don't use thing, and of late, the FRS/GMRS radios have been getting the majority of the use. As mentioned by another poster, even on the highways these days not much info...

    CB radio suggestions

I have the Cobra 75 like many but it seems every time I head out on the trail, most everyone is using handheld FRS/GMRS radios which work fine but harder to hear and forever bouncing around in the cab. Saw this GMRS mounted radio on the Midland site which looks pretty nice alternative...

Not to hijack, but try swapping the plastic spout out for the brass replacement one. I've had zero leaks since I made the swap.

Trailer Security and the TrailerWatch 2?

Thanks. I think they build to order, I would definitely give them a call as they were super helpful. It's not cheap, $1450 plus shipping. I will say that it is a quality made product and worth every penny.
