    Birds Of Prey

It is one of the California Condors at the Grand Canyon. Those things are huge!

    BFG MT's on trailer

I have brakes on my trailer. So the trailer can assist with braking on steep, loose descents. At least that is my theory!

    BFG MT's on trailer

I have Interco TrxUs MT's on both truck and trailer, works fine for me. The two can share tires/wheels/spares.

    Well, that ended badly..

    I didn't see a price, but that looks exactly like a Wayne's stabilizer (a.k.a. Valterra). $40 here: http://www.waynesrvstabilizer.com/

    Well, that ended badly..

Wow, that sucks! Good to hear there were no injuries. I'll be sure to check and double-check the ol' Wayne's stabilizer on my next outing (hopefully next weekend). Sorry I can't direct you to a part source, except to suggest checking with the outfit you bought the RTT from, or some other...

    Trailer brake controler

I just installed a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 in my '04 Tacoma. The truck doesn't have a factory pigtail, so I had to do the wiring manually. It wasn't too bad, especially since I needed to run a wire from the fuse block to the trailer plug anyway, for the utility lights on my trailer. The hardest...

It is an "M8" from Mil Spec Offroad. They are no longer in business. They still have a dormant web site out there, but beware because the site is infected with a virus. I bought this trailer slightly used from the owner, it was the last of his show trailers. It is built like a brick...

    pintle noise

OK Jimbo, I think we all get it now that you have sensitive ears. Everyone has their own preferences and priorities, and the small amount of noise my pintle makes is not high on my list. And I for one do not want 360 deg. of rotation. If my truck and trailer are tilted more than 45 deg. in...

Too hot in KS for RTT camping...

    Cascadia Vehicles Tents RTT

Yep, I like mine too. We took it up on Mt. Lemmon the weekend before last. The foam pad is a bit on the firm side, but otherwise the tent is great.

Abandoning the RTT for a ground tent...

I was seriously considering a Springbar tent before I finally bought a RTT.

Yeah, the ladder definitely needs adjustment, but it only came with one set of holes. I'll have to drill another set when I figure out where it should be adjusted to. I'm planning to put gas/water cans and a propane tank on the front deck. The trailer has 4 hi-lift jack points, 2 up front and...
