Thanks all. Yes, the box is a bit small, but I tend to travel somewhat light, and there is plenty of room to strap stuff down up front. I, too, like not having a lid on the box. Dust is the only issue I have found with that, and it has not been a big issue so far. I can lock the tailgate...
