LR4 Johnson Rods + Alignment = Uneven Tire Wear. How Fix?

That is actually a really cool idea. I hadn't thought to do that. It is too bad you can't programmatically change the sensors output/range and do the same thing.

Looks like I can't dodge the roof rack...

I store my Kodiak Canvas Flexbow inside, I always worry about moisture and general dust exposure. I have lighter gear in my roof cases, but that would work. The cases are air tight though, so it would never dry out and if its in sun, the cases air gets hot. Not a good environment for canvas.

LR4 Johnson Rods + Alignment = Uneven Tire Wear. How Fix?

I think we should all agree with this ^ The point is... when you need a lift, to clear an obstacle, for a very short time period, it is possible with EAS and is ok to be out of camber spec.

LR4 Johnson Rods + Alignment = Uneven Tire Wear. How Fix?

Thank you for your service! Once you get that IID tool, we can show you some cool things it can do. I just bought a new key for a little over $100 and programmed it with my IID tool. One of my keys would barely work unless it was 2" away from the vehicle. New key works perfectly.

    2018-2017 LR Discovery Rim/Tire Size

Can you still put 19" factory or 18" compomotives on D5? Did they keep the same lug pattern? (I am not considering a D5, Just curious. had to write this in case my LR4 is reading. Keeping you forever baby)

LR4 Johnson Rods + Alignment = Uneven Tire Wear. How Fix?

I am a little disappointed that a dealership would even install rods. Did they sell them to you also? Did they warn you of the downsides? Do you have an IID tool? (for when you actually do need a lift or clear a fault caused by the rods when they push the height sensors out of range off...

Cargo Baskets - Show me how you secure your load!

What do you consider low profile? Under 15"? 12" 10"? I hate ratchet straps and don't use them. I require security, locking the case to the rack and locking the cases, but I also want to be able to open the case while on the rack at camp. So my solution is I use two big pelican cases...

    Lr3 ARB bumper with superwinch

Thanks, ya. I still have a lot to learn, but am excited to do some more interesting trips where I might need a winch. Just heard, bumper should arrive mid-october. I'll try to remember to post an update/review with some details. It is hard to find details on this on the web.

    Lr3 ARB bumper with superwinch

For the ARB, you have to mount the winch before you mount the bumper. The summit bar does have a new grill with an access door so you can reach into it, It also has more room up top I think. I have decided to go with the Warn Zeon Platinum 10-S with the wireless remote and no manual clutch...

    Lr3 ARB bumper with superwinch

I know that the deluxe bar has it's issues, but has anyone looked at the new summit bar? (ARB 3432220) It looks to have some improvements. I am looking to put one on my 2013 LR4 soon (even though ARB says its for 2014+ but wont explain why). I love all of the T44 gear I have. Eric does...

    LR3 - new K02s

I wish we could stop a certain overpriced rod seller from spreading misinformation about lifts being required for tire sizes. If you put too large a tire on your rig, its going to rub, no matter what height you sit at. What happens off road when you put the wheel up into the wheel well? What...

    LR3 - new K02s

I have an LR4, but I assume it is similar. I took the wire harness off its little mounts and then put a heavy duty zip tie through the arm that goes up from the frame. I also used a smaller tie around the wires further back, up to the hard lines running back there. I think as long as its not...

EXPLORING THE 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 5 " D5 " OFF ROAD OPTIONS

I finally saw a D5 in person the other day. For a rear bumper, I would think an aftermarket one would need to have more of a lip or something for the swing aways to mount to. It certainly has a lot of plastic along the bottom all the way around. I also wonder how that effects slider...

    Which LR3 to buy?

The issues you listed on the first one would take more than $500 to sort out. I wonder if you could make a deal with the 2nd place so that you could take it to the indy and have it inspected and if you are not happy, have the right to return it?

New product from Proud Rhino! The SYA Off Road Extension Kit

I am not sure I want to commit yet. I am interested, but I would want more details and im not sure I want to commit $300 yet for it. I do think it would be a good product to have available.

New product from Proud Rhino! The SYA Off Road Extension Kit

I'd be interested. Anything to make the common 31.5" setup a little less risky.

Traxide dual battery kit on LR4

I have the Traxide SC80 (160 is good too, but i think the SC80 will work fine)... and I bought the National Luna Dual battery monitor. It works just fine with the traxide stuff, its just a monitor. (The national luna controller has it built in, but you can buy the cheaper monitor part on its own)

    Trade LR3 Tactical 4x4 sliders???

I recently just sold my Voyagers for a new set of T44 sliders. Just to add to the thread, some observations. * Voyagers are much easier to install, but only install on the body, not the frame mounts like the T44. * Voyagers are lighter, but not by a massive amount. I don't think it is...

Affordable portable shower, seen this one?

I have been looking at a new shower setup. I think the Nemo Helio LX Pressure Shower looks like a good option if I plan to just boil water on a stove and go that route, packs very small and has decent pressure. I have also been looking at the Zodi dual burner setup. I would want to use a 12v...
