I use a Duel GPS receiver with a non-WIFI) iPad mini and Gaia for primary navigation.
Works great. Acquires faster and holds signal better than my iPhone 11 in trees and canyons.
Also I believe you can connect two different devices via Bluetooth if that is useful in your cabin configuration...
I need a little more storage and would like to add a Leitner ACS rack and some gear pods to my truck. I have a 2020 Nissan Frontier KC SV (6' bed). This should be the same rack for any Frontier 6' 2016-2020. I don't know enough about the Leitner system to know if their racks can be converted to...
Just out of curiosity, can these be modified for shorter bed lengths i.e. 6’1” ? I’ve never seen one up close, but was kinda hoping they were modular and the top tubes could just be cut shorter.

One more thought to consider.
You can use a ground trigger for a relay and thereby avoid having a long run of positive wire through the engine compartment, through the firewall, under the dash.
That way of something chafes the worst thing that happens is the lite bar switches on, rather than a...
I've got a Decked system in my Frontier long bed and my advice is that the two systems are very different animals. The Decked system is drawers, that can be subdivided for organization. It also has a lot of wasted space for the drawer mechanism. On a postive note, everything can be easily...
Another +1 for the Elements. We have been running on outside rain/snow/shine/dust for 9 months with no problems so far.

Some ideas for lightening up:
Exchange the folding Torx keys for a bit set to use on your 1/4 driver and socket set.
Exchange all your screwdrivers for a combo 4 in one screwdriver. You might consider adding a JIS screwdriver. Standard Phillips cam out like crazy.
Consider striping your...
As much as it drives me nuts to know the data I’m getting from the gauge is inaccurate, what really matters is consistency.
Once you determine appropriate pressures for your vehicle, tire, conditions you just need to repeat.
So I ask you, who cares if my 18 psi for soft stuff is really 15 or...
Totally agree about the S2, but an expensive option for work lights. If you do go that way, I highly doubt you will need 4 on sides. They are really bright. Maybe get a couple and check it out before you commit to that many.
BTW, The S2 are perfect ditch lights.

Still don’t get why not just run two 1” webbings traps over the top of the two stack?
I use roller cam straps and they are very secure and fast to affix.
I wouldn’t run without both boxes strapped down. If you are going to use the holes on the side, put them on he top box in the stack...
We also use a Wolf pack for dry food storage in the galley and two more for other misc. storage stacked outside on the trailer. Surprisingly weather resistant, even though Front Runner makes no claims in that regard.

We use a BMV-712 and find it excellent. I haven’t had any contact with Victron support except through research on their forums, so I can’t speak to responsiveness.
I went all Victron for my trailer solar system and have been very happy with their monitor, solar controller, and mains charger. I...
Given my history with their fuel cans, I won’t be testing these. I finally went back to Wavian cans because Rotopax leak so bad regardless of how diligent I was about venting.
I’m afraid traction boards are definitely “buy once, cry once” territory (ala Maxtrax). Checkout Rony Dahl’s review for...
