Unpossible that rig could do the Pan American. You need 4x4 or better yet 6x6 and a biiiiiiiig camper with solar and a battery bank that could power a small city. That would be an easy fix. Fly down with a new bellhousing and install it yourself with a floor jack and some hand tools.

11R22.5 tires are everywhere. I don't think you can go wrong. For ice and snow driving get them siped, I know it shortens the tread life some but it is well worth the extra traction.
