For Sale: Used Autohome Overland Medium Tent--SOLD

Thanks, Dave, for the compliment. This tent has been great. What we like most about it is how quickly it sets up and how quickly you can stow it and be on your way. Being in Texas, we usually have long, long, long, long drives on our trips. We frequently arrive after dark and sometimes try...

For Sale: Used Autohome Overland Medium Tent--SOLD

Here’s the strap to keep bedding in place when stowing: There are two support poles for the other awning. I’ve never used these as the awning on the trailer was in the way. All of the marks on the aluminum poles are simply surface oxidation and rub right off. Also shown is the location...

Yes, but that would create another problem.

    Bumper for Hi-Lift

So, it sounds like a good thing that you remove it when going off-road, as I don't think you'd want to clog your filter with all the dust/ dirt it would certainly pick up from whatever the front tires kick up. But, then I have to ask, wouldn't the engine suffer even more from higher intake...

    Nikon D200 DSLR Setup - $700

I still can't believe this hasn't sold yet. If I weren't waiting for Nikon to come out with the D700s or whatever the next full-frame semi-affordable camera will be, I'd be all over this as my backup body. The D200 is an excellent camera with pro-level features you just don't get on the...

    Bumper for Hi-Lift

Wait a minute. Assuming that the dryer vent duct is completely sealed to the air intake, woudl't that act like a straw during water crossings? That's practical for ingesting water into the engine considering how low the intake was mounted, isn't it?

    Led lighting for side boxes

Thanks a lot. Those pictures show in much beter detail how they're mounted. That's really slick. Nice job. You've got me thinking now about what to do over the kitchen.

    Led lighting for side boxes

So, the lights are on the outside of the trailer, and are not covered up when you shut the door/ front panel to the side box?

    Led lighting for side boxes

That looks great. would you mind posting a picture during daylight so we can see exactly where they're mounted? It almost looks like they're mounted just below the weather seal facing outward. Also, that would be a perfect setup on the kitchen side. I have the LED that came with it on the...

    Spencers Build Thread

Most of us are more mature here, but you're really testing our patience. Then your motivation was simply altruistic? You thought you could teach some of us the proper way to outfit a D1?

How ARB just managed NOT to lose my business (rant over)

Give them a call and 10 minutes of your time. I bet they make it worth your while. They've built a pretty good reputation over a long period of time for taking care of their customers. It's a shame what happened to you, but that kind of stuff happens some times. Just be glad you bought a...

In search of the perfect can opener.

How about the opener on many multi-tools? Or, how about one of those that separates the lids from the cans leaving no sharp edges?

Gen 3 Lift Options and Questions.

I'll second what Aaron stated about the OME Heavy Duty. I never noticed it riding that rough empty, because I added the winch and bumper at the same time. So, I never knew what it would drive like without the added weight up front. Just Google Rocky Road Outfitters if you want to find a ton...
