How much Solar do you have?

I think most controllers have a diode that prevents the panel from drawing power from the system.

How much Solar do you have?

Of course, they work better when they're in direct sunlight.

How much Solar do you have?

I'm not sure I understand the 300W+ choices in the poll. That's a lot to drag around or set up. Even if you get the 60W rolls, that's 5 to set up just to get to 300W.

How to choose binoculars for my work?

Barska? Really? I've never found anything they make to be worth bothering with. In fact, even if they were given to you, they wouldn't be worth their own weight. These are excellent binoculars for the price. Keep in mind that you may not want anything more powerful than 8-10X, as the image...

Engel Discovery - Food Storage Containers now in stock at Sierra Expeditions

I never trust ZipLocks...at least not one at a time. For anything fluid, such as award winning ribs:chef:, I trust no less than three freezer type (extra thick) ZipLocks at a time. That's a bit of a hassle. But I've cleaned up messes from just using one or two at a time. I've used the Lock...

    Hydroplaning KM2s

I've always been curious to know if alignment can play a factor in hydroplaning. Anyone know if, when the toe is off especially in the front and more on one side than the other, that could help cause the tires to become separated from the surface during heavy rains?

    USB powered touchscreen

I've definitely had my eye on these. I just need to sort out which screen and where to mount it, but the computer has gotten great reviews and seems very durable. Just add a solid state drive and I think you've got a bombproof computer, err carputer.

    Anyone own a Nikon F5?

I still have my F5 and my N90s. Love those cameras. The F5 is a tank and the controls are very quick and easily accessible. The only thing I wish it had is an aperture dial on the vertical grip.

TX company to offer flat rate electric charging station

There have been energy companies in Texas for a long time now...this is no surprise to me. Sure, there's oil here. But there is also a lot of natural gas, solar, and wind power too. Thanks for this post. I think this would be an interesting product for the future of electric automobiles.

    Volcano II vs Cobb

I've been using my volcano II for quite a while now. I now carry it on it's side in the Horizon and I know it must bounce around back there. It is still round and still deploys/ stows quickly without issue. I wish I could be more helpful, but I don't have any experience with the Cobb grill...
