    Electric heater

My range rover has always had good heat. The few times I've driven it when it was cold out. I'm thinking that just having to replace it once would be nice. The dash is not exactly easy to remove.

    Electric heater

Does anyone know of an electric heater for an automotive application? I'm about ready to finish my Range Rover up and the heater core is probably broken. When I was installing the engine into the hole it hit one of the heatercore pipes. Taking the dash out is a 8-10 hour job. And I never want...

I also ordered an electric fuel pump off amazon, its pretty heavy duty, it came with a pump, regulator and gauge. So, once I figure out how to mount all that stuff, I'll post a picture. I need to get some fittings so i can hook it all together.

So, i've been working on this thing lately again. I finally decided to use the GM power steering pump. The land rover one wouldn't fit anywhere well, and the stock GM pump in its stock location was hitting the steering box. The cool thing about using the GM pump, is the fluid reservoir is...

So the new fuel pump was not working. I hooked up an old Mercedes electric fuel pump to push all the air out of the system. It puts out 55 psi though which is way to much to run the engine. But it fired up. https://vimeo.com/195912036 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok. Fuel pump is in. New solenoid. Been trying to crank it. But still no start. There must be a ton of air in the lines. Anyway a few pictures. Things are progressing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

IT Fired, for couple of seconds on WD40. The lift pump / fuel pump, isn't working. So I ordered another one. $14. The Ford Starter Relay was also dead, i used a ford starter relay for my glow plug relay set up. So I ordered a new one for $8. I should be ready to fire on Monday.

Update. I might get this started soon. I'm missing my hold down bracket for the vacuum pump that is run off the back of the cam. So hopefully I can locate that soon. Wiring is 95% done. I need to get a new alternator. Another battery. And install my Land Rover power steering pump. I just...

Ok, gaskets are done, Intake and valve covers. Nother else seemed bad, so I'll do more if needed. Engine is clean inside, so that a positive. I bought a new starter $80 on Amazon. I had to helicoil one of the bolt holes, someone had broken a bolt off inside the hole. I had to drill it out...

Ok, so moving forward slowly. I had the starter tested, and as suspected, it was dead. So, I'm waiting for a new one from Amazon. Should be here on Thursday. $82 shipped. Already things are pretty cheap on this engine.
