I vote for the Fiamma. I have the Fiamma 35 and the Eezi-Awn 2m awnings. They are both similar in quality, size, weight, etc.
The Fiamma is the quickest to deploy of any awning I've seen. Easy for one person to deploy and stow. This is one of the biggest reasons for getting it, in my opinion...
With fresh, hot coals and the vents open I find it sears nicely. I regularly sear 1.5-2" thick strips or ribeyes and then close down the vents to about 3/4 and cook them a little slower. I've done Kalbi on there too. Even with all the marinade still on the ribs, it still gets them cripsy.
Ken Rockwell is a complete tool. Take everything he says with a huge grain of salt.
As I always say, invest in lenses not camera bodies.
Start with asking yourself what type of photography you plan to do. If it's landscape and general trip photos, then just about any of the Nikon bodies...
No worries.
Just get the Limited now so regearing is a possibility if you ever want to. You won't be dissapointed. Mitsubishi sells a whole shim kit too to make it easy if you ever want to add an ARB in either or both diffs when you regear. Sure, mucho dinero, but if you save up for it...it...
I use the airlift, but I think the quality of both is about equal from what I've read. I would have had no qualms getting the firestone brand as well.
They're okay. I agree with Spressomon that if I had a constant load I'd rather have a spring suited to that specific load. But, since I...
I have the 3.5 and find it's just fine. Never had any issues with it, but I also only have approx. 90K miles on it too.
Only comment I can make, don't plan on adding larger tires and towing something without regearing. It was okay before I started towing a trailer.
If you get the limited...
P,
Nice list of upgrades. Sorry to hear about having to rebuild the rear diff, but I'm with you. I would have wanted to find out earlier rather than later.
Let's see, an Oz tent in Australia...seems appropriate to me. Those are beautiful and well made tents. A true testiment to...
If you didn't quite get the answer you wanted from Italy, I'm surprised the vendor you bought it from hasn't helped you track down the answer. I think you still deserve the answer to your question about whether the Safari is simply a color variation of the Airland.
This is why you "invest" in lenses and not camera bodies. If you outgrow the D5000, you could always make it your backup. I did that with my D70 when I got my D200. It still is useful and I can keep one lens on each when I don't have time to keep switching lenses.
X2
Glad to see the announcement and to see this finally happen. I think this is going to be a very exciting modification for a JK...I can't wait to see this.
If one were to fail, you could still limp back to at least pavement or cell phone service and have one over-nighted, right?
I'm not looking under mine at the moment, but I have to think there might be a way to secure the trailing arm to keep it from bouncing about.
