Tire Recommendations: Mostly highway miles + some offroad

I'll concur with the above. The ST Maxx's on my Tundra have 30,000 miles on them and are just about at their use-able half-life. That'll give me about 60,000 miles when I need a new set. I run about 300 miles a week on pavement, and spring summer and fall is a mix of paved, graveled, and...

    Composite Propane Tank

Ours is a Ragasco. Nice and light, and it's been refilled several times. For the first fill the guy at the station said "I've never seen a tank like that before" a few weeks later we went back for a refill and the same guy says "I've never seen a tank like that before"

    New Tundra Release

A first gen Taco with an LS1 would indeed be cool. A new Tacoma with a 4.6 V8 Toyota would be sweet, but my personal money is no object dream truck, would be mine with the 5.7 from the big Tundra, with all the running gear. Big, bulletproof differentials, better transmission, etc. Tie it...

    New Tundra Release

That's funny, cause I like the current Tacoma styling over the HiLux. The body lines are OK, but I think the grill and headlights is just horrendous. Back to the Tundra, I think all the fullsize trucks are suffering from excessive bloated styling.

    New Tundra Release

Can we get a half-ton the size of the first gen Tundra? I've thought the new style should be an oversized 3/4 ton line, the Tacoma would grow just a little more to a real half-ton (gen 1 Tundra size for reals) with a V8 option, and then Toyota could reintroduce a nice cool looking mini-truck...

Travels with Bubbles, 2012, Chapter 1: Oregon (long, pic-heavy)

Yes to this. We've got the MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe. With the windows and the door windows open just a bit (pulls the air in right across your body) it is more than enough for a comfortable afternoon nap in a Virginia July (that's 100 degrees and high humidity). It actually felt cooler inside the...
