    Buying a new camera: Advice?

This statement just struck me as funny, I thought the old daze were 35mm and a home built darkroom. Beyond that I have nothing to add, just reading and learning, since I really miss my G9 and the Olympus Tough just doesn't work as well as I had hoped.

UAV-TD (Urban Assualt Vehicle - tear drop) build

We used the .040 on the walls, roof and hatch. Conformed wonderfully to the curves of the roof and hatch. The teardrop is looking good there silvr. You'll be camping in no time!

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

The E rated tires ride real nice on the Tundra, I run anywhere from 30 to 40 psi depending on how I'm feeling at any given time. I've just a tick over 30,000 miles on them and I've still got 12/32" of tread left. They're wearing flat and true. Still comfortable and quiet. I'll get an easy...

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

I think that 8 reviews (4 of which are excellent, 4 are bad) is not a large enough data set to make a decision with.

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

This is my opinion, ( and I'm sure there are others with differing opinions) but the ST Maxx is better than the BFG AT at everything and I would spend a little extra cash to get them.

    Moby1 owners?

The Moby is a Benroy design. This style was designed and produced from 1953 - 1955. The extra space provided is exactly the reason we built our trailer in a Benroy shape. The difference in interior space between the Benroy we built and the more teardrop shaped Silver Shadow (Little Guy) we...

    Moby1 owners?

Save yourself the trip with some CAD (cardboard aided design) work. Get the interior dimensions for the Moby and do a full-size cardboard mock-up in your living room. Cut in the proper doors and windows (if it has windows) in the walls and climb inside. You should realize very quickly if...

UAV-TD (Urban Assualt Vehicle - tear drop) build

Those pocket jigs are the way to go! We did almost all of our wood work using the Kreg Jig. Made it super easy to tie the walls to the floor. The frame and fenders look great!

    New Tundra Release

The second gen Tundras are called, Regular Cab, DoubleCab and CrewMax. Having ridden in the backseat of a DoubleCab, the room is just fine for an adult and way better then the first-gen AccessCab. Rear legroom is listed at 34.7" for the DC Tundra and 44.5" for the CrewMax. The DC Tacoma is...

    New Tundra Release

If it was just the grill slats that were chrome it would be good, but the chrome going up over the hood scoop(? is that what that is?) makes it just look stupid. Tundras should've had lockers from day 1.....

What is the greatest overland vehicle ever sold new in the US?

Careful there, you'll go blind..... ......that's mostly imagery related. This site has some fantastic images, and most people are just enamored with SUV's, therefore that's the most frequent image you get to see. If Mr. Brady had stuck with the Tacoma, or maybe grew up into a Tundra, the...

What is the greatest overland vehicle ever sold new in the US?

On my list too. first gen Tundra, not too big, not too small, good power-to-weight ratio, reliable and capable. It excels at versatility. With a tonneau cover and a bed rack, is my preference.......
