I was in Skagway about a month ago, also waiting for the ferry. The whole town was pretty much shut down during the offseason, but the brewery was open(great beer and salmon sandwich).
Did you find a place to camp in Skagway? We couldn't and ended up spending a couple nights in a hotel.

I'm having a hard time seeing what your pushing against. Is that the camper jack or some bed rail? I'd like to see a pic of your aluminum angle bar also.
Thanks

Dale,
Your road bike most likely will be able to handle a 700 x 25c tire, possibly a 28c. I would then put something like a 26 x 1.5 on the mtb. I've done a fair amount of touring and setting people up for touring, so if you have any specific questions drop me a note.

2000 Lance 835 on my 2006 2500 CTD. The pics were taken a couple of weeks ago up on the Alcan in Northern BC/Yukon. -33f was the coldest night we had in the camper.
I've been checking on your build occasionally through your blog. I'm planning a similarly constructed although slightly bigger unit of my own.
I'm looking forward to seeing how your materials and construction technique have worked for that cantilevered section where the bed will be!

Ute flatbeds are fairly popular around here. I spoke with them recently and they didn't have any new ones in stock at the moment and he wasn't sure how the price on incoming beds would be effected by the decreasing value of the dollar. I think they were currently around 3k w/ the headache rack...
GoWesty near San Luis Obispo has one right now. They ask(and get) a fair penny for their vehicles but, they have been thoroughly gone through and are in great mechanical order.

I never felt the need to run their stuff on my bikes, but I've seen plenty of it cross my repair stands. They flourished in the late days of "cnc'ish" type cranks, but I'm still surprised by their closing because I thought they were still being used OEM on several brands?
I do have a Titus, but...
Do you find the Froli system keeps condensation from building up under your mattress and possibly warmer in the cold winter months?
I have a very comfortable mattress I assembled out of 5" thick 5lb density memory foam ontop of 4" of standard foam, but I really need something under it to vent...

These gloves were worn only a couple times by my Dad when he visited. They are in like-new condition. The only sign of use is a "J" written with sharpie...
I'd also be interested in how well those soles hold up. I got a pair from Duluth Trading this past June and have worn them almost everyday, they are ultra comfy, but the Vibram soles are totally worn smooth now. I was just about to get them resoled. The duluth's are $150 and made in Wisconsin.
I have a pair of Specialized Tahoe's from a few years back. I wore them three- four times, I'll stick with my Dragon 2s. I cut off the velcro strap, because it seemed redundant and useless to me. Anyways size 44/10.5 US. $30 shipped w/o the cleats. If anyone wants to try them.
I hope this...
I'm curious as to when you use the led light bar -vs- the lightforce lights? I'm assuming they serve a separate purpose. Do you use them simultaneously or independently?
Thanks

Maybe Four Wheel Campers would be willing to trade product for a website and maintenance?
When you start to break down how much product they offer with all of the various models and options it becomes alot of content to display and organize.
I know I'd like to be able to estimate the cost and...
