Your shift solenoid has taken a crap. Take it out, throw it away, and shift whenever you want. Not when the computer tells you, you can.

Got it all back together. It's running like crap. The oil and coolant has mixed already after 20 minutes of running. I suspect the block is cracked. So the question? Chevy 350? Diesel? Complete drive train swap? I'm done with rover engines. I already have one other on its last leg in my D2.

Go check it out. Look for rust. Stab everything with a screwdriver

I criss cross mine through the bottom of the wheel and then bring them through the back and up. Mine didn't come with any instructions or extra straps. But I do like it for hauling garbage and nasty diapers.

No, mine had metal headgaskets, I'm keeping it that way. Just got the heads back from the machine shop. He didn't have to do much to them! Said they looked great. So, I'll replace the valve seals, and put it back together. Can't wait. I've missed driving it for the last 4 days.

Heads are off. I dropped them off at the machine shop today to get resurfaced. Cylinders look great. I can still see cross hatching in them. Camshaft looks good as well.

I'd rather drive my classic for another hundred years. Its simple to work on. Easy to modify. And a more enjoyable driving experience.

Have you checked the front end wheel bearings?

REMOVE THE SOLENOID. No more stuck T-Case. I did it to mine a few months ago. Makes life so much less stressful.. One less part that can break.

Well it was a fun ride. But today the headgaskets blew. I'm sad. But I already started tearing it down.

I put some 7" round LED headlights in my RRC. HOLY CRAP! They are awesome! So much better than the old crappy sealed beams. And they look good. The pattern is very nice and has a really nice cut off.
