I have my CDL working in my D2.
I've heard the Traction control is programmed to be more aggressive when the CDL is off. And its supposed to be more passive when the CDL is locked.
Is there any truth to this?
I've been driving around without sway bars for a few weeks now. Its really noy bad. Buy i do have heavy ratrd sprigs and bilstien 5125s on it. It doesn't lean too bad.
Alright. The ACE (active cornering enhancement) Died when I was coming home through Jackson Wyoming a couple weeks ago. Some how one of the lines at the back wore a hole through itself and started spraying hydraulic fluid all over the place. (AS IN YELLOWSTONE). Opps.
Anyway, I didn't notice...
I needed a place to carry gas. I hate roof racks. So the back door was my only option for some extra gas.
I had to figure out a way to mount it to the door without taking up too much room.
I wanted to make it removable so i can take it off when i don't need it.
Broke out the welder and got...

I have the parts but haven't done anything with them yet:
Serpentine Belt
Transfer case flush
Transmission oil change
Wire my CB antenna
Repaint the fender flares
New stereo with blue tooth. Cords suck

Changed out the factory thermostat tonight with the 180 degree version. Now the fans aren't coming on constantly.
I was amazed at how much easier it was to do compared to a p38. Took about 30 minutes to do it.
