Nice. My headliner is still in pretty good shape. The lack of humidity probably helps though.

Still need to get some plugs for the roof. right now duct tape is doing the job of keeping rain out.

So to get the factory roof rails off I had to take a part the whole interior. Not a lot of run. The middle set of bolts holding it on really sucked because of the rear air conditioning vents in the roof.

spark plugs. yup, still sparkin'. Anyway. Christmas present is installed. Lowered it about 3/4" all around. Now it sits about 1/4" off the roof at the back. Hope I can get out of the garage. otherwise I'll have to deflate the tires.

Anyone seen roof rails like this? I've never seen another disco with full length roof rails. I'm just wondering if its a weird option for mine or what? I'm in the process of removing them so I can mount my roof rack a lot closer to the roof.

Okay, I did a bit of work on my rack. Now my cargo box fits and I have a place to stick my shovel and axe. Stage 1 is complete. The next stage will include flooring and lowering it about an 1/4" off the top of the roof. That way I can park it in the garage with the roof rack still on. Pictures...

looks good. I've been looking for a used box topper like that for awhile. how is it? I have a 2006 F350 Crew Cab 4x4 Long Bed with the 6.0 Diesel. Mines fairly stock other then some 33" tall tires, bigger turbo and a leveling kit.

I need to put some flooring in it. What should I use? I'd like to keep it as lightweight as possible. I think this only weighs about 50-75 lbs. I can pick it up and carry it pretty easily.
