Just to reiterate what everyone else has said. There is no comparison, and they do draw a LOT of power, constantly. If you are in the Atlanta area, I will give you the one I have... works great (lol...)

Cool set-up for sure, once I hit the lottery I am going to go with the similar style tent (serengeti) for my trailer. My RTT will soon be outgrown with our newest addition on the way. Very cool find, and even cooler Scrambler!

If someone wants to steal your stuff, they are gonna steal your stuff. You wanted something that works well, and is easily accesible. The Quick fist is what you need. If you want something with a little more security, you will sacrifice accessibility.

Well... I read your post about 4 times, and I am still not entirely sure what you are asking. But, if you are asking how to keep the trailer stable when its not hooked to a vehicle (as in for camping), jack stands under the rear will work well. I had to do this before adding permanent rear legs...
To be honest, the Trasharoo is the only thing keeping me motivated to finish my rear tire swingout... lol. Nice product, I will be getting one soon, once I have a place to attach it to.
