Its all relative I suppose. Here is what I paid for mine: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37961
I absolutely LOVE this fridge. I like that fact that its big enough to hold everything and then some. Mine is fairly old, but hasnt skipped a beat. Its out in the shop right...
Pretty much exactly what i did. Works like a champ, and its nice to be able to stand on them, and have take a beating should the trailer ever roll on its side.
Just wanted to update my build thread, got the trailer 98% wired up over the past 3 days. Took longer than I anticipated, but everything turned out nice and neat, and I am happy with it.
Ultimately, I had to wire in my 12volt DC aux circuits, 110 volt AC circuits, finish the trailer lights...
Its a very similar design to what I have done, except mine has a little more length. I use the CRAP out of my kitchen box, and it has held up remarkably well. I also used 12mm birch ply. I have tweaked it to get it perfect over the years, but its an awesome camping addition.
Yours look well...
No problem, I dont mind answering anything I can. All of the above is simply my opinion, and personal experience. There are many ways to skin a cat, and this one works well, was failry simple/easy, and was inexpensive for me.. :victory:

Yeah white... original right?
I decided to paint the top half of the Jeep white to match it, so white it is. I was gonna do desert tan, but figured white would be better in the long run.
I am working on an elevator for the entry into the tent on those types of nights...
Forgot to post these pics here... I finally got around to putting some paint on this thing about a month ago. Used Dupont epoxy primer, single stage dupont Acrylic Enamel for the white, and Herculiner on all the black stuff including the fenders, tongue/box, and inside the tub. I think it turned...
ive posted to several of the OP's threads, but here it is again. I use the "truck" or nascar style trailing arm setup. I have about 1800 miles of on and offroad pulling now on my trailer, and she pulls and handles like a dream. I would change absolutely nothing about the suspension at this...
Glad im not the only one who bends sheet metal like that! Works like a champ with a thin cutoff wheel...
I made my own tongue box (in the same manner, but included the bottom) too, but its slightly less complicated than yours. Yours fits very well! Your trailer is coming along nicely Scott...
My frame is 1x1 11 gauge, and is skinned with 16 gauge steel. Its a little heavy, but I like being able to stand on it (310 pounds) in any spot and not worry about it. Plus I have my RTT mounted to it. I cut the sheet to the same size as the frame, but left it about 1/4" smaller around the...
Well... the paint is all but finished. I will post pictures later after I make some progress putting things back together.
The main body (outside) of the trailer is white, with the front deck/tubing/tongue box portion being black. I also sprayed the underside of the lid black.
I say black...
+3 for the Extreme (metal cylinder) with shower head mods.
I LOVE mine. I use the burner just as much for my large WOK as I do for my shower, so it was a bonus.
Here is what I did to mine to make it a LOT more user friendly.

Just dragging this back up from the dead. I have been very busy that last 5-6 weeks or so with jobs and normal life stuff, and havent had much time to mess with the trailer.
Now, I have about 10 days between my old job (last day today), and my new job (I start on the 12th). I have been...
I dont think you want to use the 14 or 16 gauge. 14 might be fine for fenders, but if you plan on standing on them, I would want more. Every piece of tubing on my trailer is 11 gauge (about 1/8")
For those three things you mentioned, I personally would want 11 gauge for most tubing, especially...
Sure, here are all of the pics I have of them.
The bottom section that the drink sits on is made out of 5/16 thick Delrin that I machined into shape with my milling machine. The rods are anodized 7061 aluminum solid rod, threw them in the lathe, faced them all the same length and then drilled...
