New Jeep Concept Vehicles at Easter Jeep Safari

Having owned and driven a FC170 I really like the new concept. Would love to see a crewcab and bus version with one ton axles and a 4 cylinder turbo diesel with a manual trans. Of course I am getting tired of Jeep trotting out these awesome concept vehicles at Easter Jeep Safari and then never...

    Winter camping?

I grew up on the coast in N CA and have driven by Crater Lake a bunch in the winter time. You can tent camp in the Redwoods that time of year, just be prepared for rain and lots of it. Temps will be in the 40/50's probably, might get down in the 30's at night. You might luck out and get a...

    H1 Hummer Wagons

Going north out of the US would be fine. Its south where you could end up in trouble driving something like a Humvee. If I had the money I would have one, width be dammed. They will go just about anywhere, of course the ones I drove were bought and paid for by the US taxpayer so I didn't...

    H1 Hummer Wagons

I have to agree about the stock military "seats". The other thing I would worry about if you go south out of the US in one. Its a very unique vehicle, doesn't blend in too well and could make you a target.

    1966 Travelall Ambulance Adventure Machine

Thanks for the compliements. Glad I could get some fellow binder nuts motivated to work on their own "junk". Well I came to my first obstacle on the rear suspension lift and am having to drop back 10 and punt. I am using the stock springs which are 2 1/2" wide. Well the stock...

    f350 4x4 4door camper?

Nice camper but I think he hit the 2 key instead of the 1 key when he was typing in the mileage numbers. I could see 12/17 if you kept your foot out of it and didn't have any big hills.

    1966 Travelall Ambulance Adventure Machine

Got some more done this last week and weekend. Dug the front and rear axle out of the back of my storage unit. Stripped the front AAM 9.25 of its coil spring suspension brackets and converted it back to SRW from DRW. Will be adding a free spin kit on the front down the road so I have locking...

    1971 F 250 4X4 is Back Home

Nice truck. I have a soft spot for old bumpside Fords. After all my first truck ride was in my dads 67 on the way home from the hospital, I was three days old at the time. I still have it too, has a few more dents in it now, some from me.:sombrero: I plan on dragging it up here to...

    1966 Travelall Ambulance Adventure Machine

Here is some more info. Its a 1966 International Travelall Intern 140 Ambulance, converted by I think it was the Springfield. They cut a T-all in two, added 12" between the front and rear doors and put a raised roof on it. It started life as a two wheel drive. The guy I bought it from had...
