I work in the sign industry. We use the same tape for road signs. We get remakes of signs where they have been hit by trucks the poles and signs are mangled but the tape is undamaged. Strong stuff and like you said one shot to get it set right. Excellent build! Can't wait to see it all skinned.

No! The hummer is an 8 v 6.5 pattern and the suburban is an 6 on 5.5 pattern

Fab one up that slides in the receiver but swings out too. You can still use the $20.00 hinges for the pivot.

Make a swing out like on the BoxRocket trailer. The two gate hinges are 19.99 for the pair with free shipping on ebay...
