Do you need to machine the back of the spacers to clear the hub face? Or do they sit flush on the mounting surface?

The V should work on A2 and A3 trailers they share the same style frame. Love pile of toys you have there. Are you going with a black frame or color matched to the jeep?

Order a pair of axle perches and weld them on the top. An easy way is to position them on the axle, bolt the u bolts on, then tack weld the perches on. Unbolt the U bolts remove the axle and weld in the open. Post the results.
