2020 Bronco estimated Approach and Departure Angles

I was listening to the truck show podcast, and they had a marketing guy who is in charge of the new ranger launch and he said one engine option for that truck... 2.3 ecoboost. I'd imagine it will be the same for the new everest/bronco.

Questions for the Suburban/Yukon XL owners out there...

Definitely something to do on the older trucks, but my throttle "cable" can only be adjusted with a tune.

Questions for the Suburban/Yukon XL owners out there...

This. I hate matting the gas pedal from a stop and the truck takes off slower than my old Land Rover did. I plan on doing the black bear tune sooner than later.

It is awesome, but I wish it wasn't still so bulky when it folded up. I might have to might legs for it one day. The humidity finally broke here after 2 weeks of 80-90F and 90% humidity, it's great.

Questions for the Suburban/Yukon XL owners out there...

Drive a GMT900 (07-13) 'Burb. They moved to rack and pinion steering and coil front end, much different animal than the torsion bar GMT800s. I REALLY like the first gen Sequoia. I'd like to pick up a low mileage 06-07 from out west or down south in a year or two if they still exist.

2003 Tahoe Build - Family Overland Rig

Yup, it's definitely a known issue, thats for sure. The vette servo certainly helps though, and if anything, provides a much more solid shift.

    That and a corvette servo.

    35s on a Chevy Silverado

You can fit 35s under any late model 4x4 full size with just a level and the right wheels and some trimming.

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

..Yea, solid links cause more wear, thats obvious but they aren't ripping your frame in half going through the mcdonald's drive-thru. No one in this thread is getting into real long travel IFS and trailing arms. The bolt on, "OEM-style" mid travel kits available for 4wd GMT800s and 900s are...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

Uh, what? How is a long travel kit going to require a new frame every 1000 miles? That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Solid bushings won't rip anything out of the frame, ever, so long as your suspension is designed properly. I daily drove a built XJ for a while with deaver...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

JD fab and TTD both make actual long travel kits that can take all kinds of abuse.... you're going to keep finding the limits that others already know about until you end up doing it right. If you're on a budget, keep the torsion bars, get new UCAs and run slightly longer smooth body shocks and...

    Clutch’s deep thoughts thread...

Yeaaaaaup. I'm less than half that age, and that truck is pretty much my truck. That one has the sweet floor mounted shifter tho! I do need to get rid of the worn out side molding and put on some mudflaps... It's everything you need, nothing you don't in a boring ass, "gets it done" package...

    Clutch’s deep thoughts thread...

Ya mon. Plenty of gently used mid 2000s domestics out there in grandpa trim waiting to get scooped up. Anything from that era with a V8 before the computer controlled 15 speed transmissions, turbos, and cylinder deactivation will last just as long as any Toyota product from the 90s/2000s...

Advice Needed:: Tacoma owner considering a ZR2

Count at my job is up to three of them now. Black, white, and just saw a green one leaving the garage from (what I'm assuming) 3rd shift. They are sweet.

Advice Needed:: Tacoma owner considering a ZR2

I don't know how you guys with 3.4s got mileage that low. The rusted to hell broken frame T100 I had for a bit got 20-22 on the highway unloaded. Maybe all the pieces that fell off due to rust made a difference with weight reduction. THAT was a cool truck.

    Any Chevy Tahoes?

I agree. Chevys are the TLC/LC70 of the USA. In Australia or Africa or whatever, those toyotas are everywhere and parts are very accessible. Same here with the Chevys. Over there, they are WORK TRUCKS, not exotics like people on this forum make them out to be. They're used and abused and keep...
