    Tc650 owners-Tundra/Silverado/f150?

I can't name one, but I know they are out there- dealers that specialize in Internet sales, they will get you what you want, how you want it. You may have to fly and drive it, I would rather do that than have it dropped off out front and have it be wrong. In 35 years of buying trucks, I have yet...

    Considering a pop up

More concerning to me than the wobbling being annoying: the leverage attempting to rip the jacks off the camper is huge! Sent from my Passport

If you are ordering from the factory there must be a fairly detailed form with the options you wants, gearing, wheels, interior, etc?? Or are you just having them locate something for you? Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

    Considering a pop up

Especially on a high truck with wide bed and small camper, I should have spaced my Jacks out more, but it was fine in the driveway, but get it off level and you end up with scrapes and dents on your new paint :) Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

Really slick lighting idea for a hard top

That looks like exactly what I was looking for in another thread I started, thx! Looks like equivalent to a 70watt incandescent, should be about right for outside lights under my awnings on the Alaskan Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

    Eezi Awn Bat 270

I suspect weight is not too big of a concern, fiberglass molded components are fairly strong when the weight is properly distributed. Awnings that pivot off one corner put huge stresses on a single point. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

My DIY solution to the UEV 440

I don't know this from experience, but many people say that the tail gate gets all stone chipped if you drive around with it down, plus I don't think the Ram has the steps built into the tail gate, so you will need a step ladder or stool. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

My DIY solution to the UEV 440

I would think you could put a block of wood on the scale so the tongue was level and you would be pretty accurate Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

By front porch he means that you can lower the tailgate and use it like a small deck or big step from the rear of the camper. Lots of camper/truck setups require the tailgate to be removed. Some folks put shortbed campers in long bed trucks, this gives options at the rear end of the camper. Even...

    2005 F-450 4x4 Utility Body w/ Starcraft Pine Mountain Lonestar Pop-top Camper

Shop around that seems real high, I got a quote here in CT by the guys that used to do Linex(the place closed) The quote was around $800 for lower doors, rockers, hood front and tailgate I think, been a while, I never did it Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

This is a sweet build, I like it. As soon as my Alaskan is ready to use I'm going to start a composite panel build that will be my lifetime camper(anyone ever said that and stuck to it?) Keep up the great work and pics! Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk 2

[Hard Side] Camper options for Toyota Tundra 2006 AC SR5 TRD?

Those are cool looking campers, I had never heard of them. The shell on the Brute looks awesome. Re being over weight, tons of opinions. There's overweight(say 1000# over on a F250) and then there is what I think is unsafe( 1000# over on a Tacoma) You can get a HD truck with payloads from...
