Gen 3 Cooper at 3 tires

I've had at least 1 or more 4x4 continuous in my fleet since 1981 when I was 17, some loud some not. Including trucks with bias ply ground hawgs, yea those are loud. Here is a direct comparison of platforms. Bought a set of Falken Wildpeak A/Ts for the 05 shortly after I purchased it 5 years...

    Unique sink/water idea

paintball CO2 probably isn't food grade, and the same issue with CO2 dissolving into the water aka: seltzer water. You can but food grade Nitrogen / CO2 mix - Beer Gas which is typically 75% N and 25% CO2. With low pressure there will be minimal CO2 dissolving - may notice a little sparkling...

Heating : Hot air on driver's side, cool air on passenger side

My '92 was cold, and my '93 is slightly cool. I fixed the problem by adding seat heaters in both. Easier than removing the dash. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Heater-Carbon-Temperature-131-158/dp/B0188ZD2WQ/

manual transmissions in a gen 2 educate me please.

Gen 1 & 2 manual behind V6 - yes ME581050 I had Redline GL4 + FM and also tried Pennz Syncromesh + FM in my '92 for a while, both were still very syncro grinding shifting, but found the "best" was regular dino stuff. Sta-Lube 85W90 from Napa and FM.

Adding Android tablet to gen III

fi -Same here. 1 day left in the month and I'm at 1.8 gig, amazing thing is that my 20 year old daughter is at 0.8 gig for the same period. This months charge for the 2 phones will be around $65. Coming from AT&T and $300 plus a month phone bills, this is great. I've used my fi phone (its...

Adding Android tablet to gen III

LoL - just trying to keep you sane. Most likely I'll go with a Joying unit in the spring for the '05 and add a USB sim contraption with a Project fi data only plan (pay for what you use).

manual transmissions in a gen 2 educate me please.

I previously owned a '92 RS M/T a. - stout - yes b. - 6 hole - NO c. - clutch - good enough I never had an issue d. - synchros - kinda suck if the PO didn't meticulously use GL4 and Mitsu additive. Mine sucked and tried the gamut of GL4 fluids. Kinda what you get with a 20+ year old truck.

Adding Android tablet to gen III

Sounds like a lot of bother and probably expense and potential lack of total functionality. Have you considered one of these all-in-ones? I'm not pimping this exact brand as I have no experience with them. There are probably a dozen or more similar price point brand options on Amazon...

    Howdy y'all...Another new Mitsu convert.

Only reasons to go with replacement torsion bars are: 1. You want to change the load carrying characteristics. 2. Your current bars are damaged (really don't wear out). 3. you want to change your ride characteristics. Index only if there isn't enough adjustment travel. "Cranking up" bars only...
