GM Started using transfer cases with no low range a few years ago in the half tons. I think in 2019? Low range is an option. Guessing they started putting those transfer cases in the mid sized trucks now too.

I'd go with the GX as well for the reasons listed above as well as the powertrain vs the Land Cruiser. Really though I'm sure the Land Cruiser power train would be more than sufficient for my purposes.

Yeah, I would've hoped AEV would have stepped up there. Can't imagine the transport company would have done anything to the snorkel that would have caused that part to come loose. They should have covered the part for you then went after the transport company if the felt it was negligent on...
