The spindle seal is on the back side of the spindle. DWH is referencing the wheel seal. There are 2 different seals on a Montero (including Sport). You will need to pull the CV shaft to change the spindle seal.

My '05 fits into this mileage category, probably wouldn't let it go for less than $8K. Maybe prices are higher here.

I've got less than that into mine in leather. Roughly $350 ($150 labor) each for the front pair and that second row sofa was a bit more like $500 ($200 labor). The second row takes a lot of material and has the 3 arm rests so more into the labor as well.
