    Blown speakers

There are a couple phillips head screws on the bottom side of the dash grills IIRC. Was easy. I put Kenwoods in the '93 (6x) and Alpines in the '92 (6x). The Alpines sound better IMHO.

Is it just the frame of the seat back? Pretty sure I have one that I'd be willing to part with.

Questions about adding a pop top to my Gen 1

Yea, there is a lot more room in or on a LWB. Also measured the roof of the '92 and could easily have a 88" (7'4") long mattress on top.

Questions about adding a pop top to my Gen 1

Went out and did some measurements of my Gen 1 SWB roof. Really thought it would be considerably longer than the Sami posted at the beginning of the thread. It is a little, but not to much. I figure I can get a 68 x 48 mattress / sleeping area. Width is OK. Length is probably OK. I'm 5'8"...

    Back from the dead....

Agreed. purebred is really a misnomer for any dog breed thou. If you look at the Golden Retriever breed (her papa) it is made up of cross breeding other dogs in the 1850's such as the black wavy-coated retriever and tweed water spaniel. The Standard Poodle (her mama) lineage "German Puddle...

    Back from the dead....

Not ready yet. Our Golden Doodle (black) is 11 1/2 y.o. and acts and energy of a 2 y.o. She is a good dog too, just super gun shy, great nose and excitement for birds but even 1 look at a gun and she runs. Not kidding! She spent 2 nights on the prairie in North Dakota in snow and 20 F when...

    Mitsubishi Dealer Parts Phase-out

Its true with ANY old vehicle. back when the Gen 2 started production, OEs only had to commit to 10 years of service parts. So figure Gen 2.5 (many parts the same) ended in 2000, we are getting to the end folks. Most OEMs are now at support for 15 years after end of production.

Questions about adding a pop top to my Gen 1

True! but either the '92 or '93 will be up for sale in August. My daughter heads off to college this fall, therefore we won't need 3 daily drivers. She can't have a vehicle there until senior year. (2018/2019)

Questions about adding a pop top to my Gen 1

Nice, but could probably pull off a self conversion for less $$$ and have the option for access to inside the vehicle. Looks like the Maggiolina's run $3000 +/-
