That's the roof fan I want too. Popular choice. Defrost mirrors?! I wonder if mine does that? Hmmmmm...

Edit: I see your dash has the defrost button. You already have rear defrost? I'd get defrost windows if you do.

Looking at mine I can't imagine it would be too difficult. I wonder if your wiring harness already has plugs for rear defrost? I've enjoyed the rear defrost already and only had it a month. Let me know if you need any measurements for the install.

Still really torn about this. There will be 4 inch cushions on everything for sleeping and to sit on when the dinette is deployed. Knowing Amy and I, things will get spilled. I'm leaning tward having all the wood in a nice painted finish for quick easy maintenance.

Nice! I'm just more comfortable with steel and have all the tools. Woodworking has never been my strong suite. I'll be doing cabinets next. 2 overhead. 1 full height. 1 counter height. Then maybe we can start finishing and add some color.

Ok I looked up hydrometers. I've seen them but never used one. I'm on it. Progress.

It says it charged. I guess my real question is, I want 2 house batteries. Would you buy one just like it for the pair or just start over with 2 fresh. It was full of water. I'd guess it's been charged maybe 4 times in its life.

Couldn't sleep. 3/4" ply makes it a workbench! I could rebuild a smallblock on it.

This battery is 6 years old but has seen VERY little use. Has probably sat dead for a while. Think it has some life left in it?

Got the garage cleaned up a bit. Ordered sliding door track. Here's what I did yesterday.....srsly?... Got that ordered too. Got the bed frame all done. Just got to add some trim tabs. I used U bolts to shelf the table in the bed frames and they double as hitch points for bicycles or...

Will you tie this into your vans fuel system? Looking forward to your install.

I offset my walkway because on the drivers side there will be an overhead cabinet. Blankets and pillows and the cushion from the walkway section will go under the cabinet and make a backrest for that side of the dinette. I can fit a 24" wide folding table under the drivers side. I also wanted...

Measure 37 times, cut once. There will be a removable section over the walkway that completes the bed or raises up to a small table for 4. Had to get creative on this bracket. Next project will be to clean out the garage to fit the bikes and still have workspace.

17 degrees this morning made for a slooow start to the day. I did make a little progress though. Passenger side bed/dinette frame almost done.

GMC Savana AWD De-Conversion (Dodge Ram replacement)

Thanks for the tip! I'll try it. Maybe we need those door keepers like a sprinter or UPS truck has on the back doors to hold them in place when open.

Beautiful rig! Did you modify you rear side doors to open fully like that? Mine only go 90 degrees although it appears the hinges would allow more.

Ready to plunk down for a isolater. I know to stay away from diode isolators but how do I check my alternators amp output? I believe it's the stock unit. Looking at a Blue sea ACR.
