Solving the gas Crisis - 95 Discovery I

If you're changing the whole drivetrain then it does make sense. By the way how did you manage to balance the gearbox on two jack stands??? Clearly your'e talented at more things than just Pokemon

Solving the gas Crisis - 95 Discovery I

But that means you have to take the interior halfway apart... no thanks! The engine mounts have to be undone anyways, so theres no added work. This process was perfected working in a flat rate dealership shop by myself and others... on more than one occasion I was able to go from driving a D2 in...

Solving the gas Crisis - 95 Discovery I

For you guys doing the top bellhousing bolts... the easy way is to remove the rubber engine mounts, lower the engine in the chassis, and get them from the top :) This goes for D1 and D2

    Mushy DiscoII Brakes

I don't think there is anything wrong with the system - you need to get the ABS pump running to push the rest of the dirty fluid out of the system. I used to do it with an Autologic back in the day, not sure of any hacks around it.

VIDEO LAND ROVER STUCK IN THE STORM

I think this is awesome. The most "Land Rover" video I have seen posted online in years. Everyone pines for the "good old Camel Trophy days"... well here ya go. Couple of guys out there one life living it. And I gotta say, they were more intelligent and better prepared for the recovery than 90%...

Suggestion for wheels on 2005 Ford F-250

Just get some OEM 17's or even 18's from a junkyard/craigslist. You could probably get a full set of 5 for $200 and you will have much higher quality wheels than any junk aftermarket. Run 285/75R17 or R18... 34/35x11" wide. Toyo makes this size

While I'm at the blower motor.....

Nothing in particular, just inspect everything very well especially wiring and connectors for corrosion. Also make sure all of your drains (sunroof and a/c) are installed properly and clear. If you are meticulous about putting the dash back together, it could be better than new. You will fix a...

    New 1990 Range Rover project

Dude, that thing is a gem. Original Classics like that are going up in value... if you're looking for an off road beater I would have to advise you to find something more rough. Dont knwo what you paid, but if you gave it a good compounding, fixed the few items, and got it running properly you...

    small chain saw

With a 200 budget I'd be surfing Craigslist for anything Stihl or Husqvarna. You should be able to land a great deal. I have a Husqy 350, 18" bar, and it has never let me down. I sharpen the chain myself and tune it about once a year. Have had it for probably 10 years now and have not had to...
