Locker Rear End Question- Complete '94 Into a '99?

Do I have to swap the front (because of gear ratios) when I do the rear? So, all the locker controls are the same?

Locker Rear End Question- Complete '94 Into a '99?

I found a complete locker rear with 4:6xx gears in a 1994 SR. Is it a straight swap as a whole unit into my '99?

Thanks. I knew it when it happened, but it doesn't bother me at all. I built it to have fun with.

I definitely will. I'll be making new ones for places that need them. The gas tank plate will get reinforced and widened. I want to build protection for the diffs too.

One of several survey markers at the top. Learned some cool facts about them from Charlie, who is a retired surveyer. Back at camp waiting for the crawdad invasion. View from our campsite. Sunday morning we did Snake Lake Trail in the reverse direction. You can't see the precipice I'm...

Tried to Kill My Montero on the Snake Lake Trail at Gold Lake - Beautiful Place

We passed what seemed like about 15 lakes. This one might be Deer Lake. Pam and Charlie's Four Runner is pretty ************. Stopping at another lake on the way to the Sierra Buttes Lookout. My daughter, Regan, having fun climbing around. Just a little dirty. Another quick stop...

OK, I figured out a system for completing the sliders and got one side done! Getting the height right. I had a floor jack under the front to get the slider and the rockers parallel. One of the benefits of overbuying hardware on nearly every project is that from time to time I have what I...

ANOTHER Guy With A Gen 2.5 Build - Sure, why Not? It's My First!

Finally got to working on the rock sliders for the Montero today. I picked up a random unfinished pair on Craigslist over a year ago for just $80. They were too long so I shortened them and rotated one end around to protect the rear part where the rockers angle out. They fit awesome now...
