Yes... I think 99% of us would prefer to have this always on. The aggravating and dangerous aspect is that you have to push a button after every start. So sometimes you forget to turn it on or turn it off... which means the response of the throttle can be very different than what you expect.

You mean the shock mounts? They really hang down, but raising the lower mount 2" along with a 2" lift and bigger tires can help a lot.

It may be effecting a small % now, but with the official cause being "metal filings left in the engine", that's going to effect longevity in a big way. Toyota has recalled 102,000 vehicles. They haven't said exactly what they are going to do, but a full engine replacement is the only fix that...

I played with mine today, and the lid itself moves a lot and rattles if it isn't either open or closed all the way. And... when it's set to blow in rather than out, it doesn't seem to do much at all... even with the vent open.

I think where you have it perfect, since it is a high pressure area when driving. The roof and sides generally are not, with the back usually the lowest pressure.
