    WASURF63 FWC Shell

It's been a long time getting around to this for me. Lot's of personal set backs in life since last year. Oh well, that's life! For starters I'm not going to refer to this as a "build thread", because 99% of it is from the factory or bolt-on. I wanted this camper to meet all my requirements and...

5 min video tour of my finished Hawk build.

Nice job Bill! Very good use of available space. I liked the dangling fly swatter about 2:00 into the video; a vital piece of equipment. I too thought you were leading up to a possible porta potti demo.:Wow1:

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

I've been watching this thread to see if Phoenix would finally make good on their shotty build for you. I'm sorry to hear they let you down again. A paint job like that is totally unacceptable. So unprofessional...:( "ok custom builder" *That is an overstatement. "attention to detail is...

Showing 3 new FWC's in Phoenix this week/weekend

Hey Stan, What are the accessories hanging off of / attached to the screen doors on the models pictured? They look like possibly a trash container (on the left) and magazine / map holder (on the right)? Didn't find any new options like that listed on the FWC site... Thanks, Walt

    FWC vs. Flippac?

Having owned both, I agree with both the above posts. I loved my ATFP but after a couple years of rigorous use here in the soggy PacNW felt there was a better, less soggy solution than putting away a wet "tent" on almost every occasion. YMMV in your climate? >>>FP cannot be removed solo unless...

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

brian90744 Quote: "May be this camper mfr should just make a new unit and fix all the problems, like the poor location of the shower, the water tank fill to a lower location, plus other quality issue you have. Then Call you to pick up the new unit on a your mini vacation. Just my thought. As...

    Camper and Truck Photos

Hey Eric, Haven't had much time (or money) to add anything substantial yet. Going through the messy "Big D" with sole custody of my kid involved. I'm going to keep this rig very spartan when it comes to upgrades. Learned lots of lessons from all the previous builds/rigs. The "less is more"...

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

I learned an expensive, hard lesson with my new custom 2012 Phoenix Pop-Up (poor fit and finish inside/out) , but it did look great from 50' away:p Some people on here got a good one. Unfortunately I did not.

May take a little while. The camper is not stored at my current residence. My apologies.

2013 FWC Grandby: NO LONGER FOR SALE

Thankfully another family member has assumed their responsibility to cover the pending family emergency, letting me off the hook. I was just trying to help with the only financial means I had available. Camper not for sale. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers. :) Walt

"Flushable" portable toilets - Brand preference?

Have this one......http://www.thetford.com/tabid/883/Default.aspx. Bought it a few years back, no problems and completely happy with it. Attached photo was from my previous Phoenix Pop-Up. Currently using it in the FWC

    New Flip-Pac owner

What he said. :) This is what most of us have done that own or have owned a FP or ATFP. You will learn to appreciate that gap/space when the truck bed starts twisting on off camber trails. Looks good. Enjoy.:sombrero:

The TARDIS - A Four Wheel Camper Build

I'm liking it, Nathanael. x4 on a level camper for comfort. I've been using the "bubble level" mounted on the center console (side to side level) and B-pillar (frt to back level) method for quite a few years, along with a set of Fiamma level-up ramps for needed adjustments. When aquiring any...
