How well do you think a 270deg awning would do on it? I.e. vs a tent and awning? I think most 270 deg are about 90" long when closed up.

Look at front right quarter panel, left rear quarter panel, front seats. Age really does not itself imply that it should not be driven accross country... unless of course a lot of wear items have never been addressed.
