searching for a thread from long ago

I don't remember which thread you're talking about, but do you mean one of the kubota V2203 refrigeration gensets? For awhile there was a lot of those builds in progress as the epa required truckers to upgrade to new compliant models. Something like this...

    Spen overland/ Jeep trailer

I have a spen as well, and it's a great little trailer. Same box as the bantam and m416, but with a tailgate and a 3/4 ton capacity (bantam was 1/4 ton). Good luck with your sale!

Super Pacific - New Wedge Camper

What terms and conditions drew you away? I haven't read them, but the sp interests me.

Using screws to hold plywood/foam construction together while gluing?

I think the biggest problem with that is that the materials expand and contract at different rates, making it difficult to bond and not have waves.

    Kenda Klever R/T

I'm curious about these tires too, as they just started making a 33x9.5r15 that would look great on my willys cj5. Looking forward to hearing some unbiased reviews.

Cool truck, looking forward to following along.

Time flies... my LJ pickup is 14 years old

Your truck still looks fantastic, all these years later. It definitely has a classic look, more so than a new gladiator does with that Itty bitty bed. I would have a heart attack shortly after cutting my jeep in half! I've thought about it often with my cj5, lengthening it to a cj6, but can't...

Very cool trip, looking forward to seeing more!

    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

I'm leery of inflatables, as I've ended up on the floor from every air mattress I've ever slept on, and my kiteboarding kites always needed maintenance to hold air.

    2022 Chrysler Pacifica AWD

Nice! We had a 2018 Pacifica S with all of the gizmos that served us well through Covid lockdowns. We dropped the middle seats many times for Chick Fil A picnics in the van. That thing ate up miles on the highway too! Honestly, one of the main reasons we got rid of it was tow capacity (1500lbs)...

    1990 Overland Bronco

Looks like a great platform for adventures! Thanks for sharing!

2018 F-150: Best way to monitor boost and engine temps?

Does your truck have the dummy gauges without the numbers on it? You can use forscan to add numbers to the sweeping gauges. Also, a cluster upgrade to the 8"digital cluster is only around $200 iirc, and not difficult. Like Sddiver said, you should be able to get an edge or scangauge standalone...

    Herbie's F150 + FWC Flatbed

Just discovered your thread, great looking truck! How are you liking it now that you've had some time to play with it? Any updates?

    3/4 ton or 1 ton platform? 250 or 350. 2500 or 3500

This is pretty much how the military does it. A deuce and a half, for example, is rated for 2.5 tons OFFROAD. Sidenote, looove your truck/camper

Whatever happened to Meal Pack Pemmican bars?

Hasn't pemmican been made since at least the pioneer days? How could they be sued over the generic name of dehydrated meat and lard? I've seen quite a few diy videos online lately as world events have spurred folks into being a bit more self sufficient. Pemmican lasts indefinitely, so maybe try...

    New Bronco

I'm curious about this as well, since I thought the 2.3 and 2.7 were both well established engines in the focus, ranger, etc.

    2019 Ford F-150 XLT 5.0 6.5' - Vagabond Nomad - $61.5k Bay Area

Just found this thread after seeing your truck for the first time on another thread. I'm not in the market, but I wish I was with yours, it's perfect.

    Am I being ridiculous?

This is why I'll never own a Ram, no matter how many people say they've outclassed the other brands, especially in the interior. My uncle had one (admittedlya Dodge not a Fiat), and it rusted out within a few short years, and everything else rattled and faded

    1980 CJ7 build

I'm super stoked to see your deuce/cj7 windshield. The ventilating windshields are rare and highly coveted on the 1955-1967 era jeeps. They're also sort of lousy for most folks, as it took the already low windshield height and made it even smaller, as well as rust being a huge concern. Your...
