    New guy and his Scout

Freaking gorgeous! An sd33 diesel scout is the one vehicle that I wish I had bought but passed on. It probably would have been dust by now out here on the east coast, hahaha. Looking forward to more!

    New Bronco

This about sums up why I own an ecoboost. 4mpg difference on fuel that's a dollar a gallon less expensive in my neck of the woods, and an engine with a timing belt, DEF, and no chance I'm "deleting" anything with the epa the way they are these days. I wanted one real bad though. My wife loves...

    2018 F150 FX4 3.5L Crew Cab - New England SOLD

Great looking truck! As a fellow owner of a black f150, I love what you've done with the overall look and functionality of the truck. Can I ask, how do you like the Westin winch mount? Feel free to pm me if you want, and in the meantime I'm forwarding your listing to my folks in S. NH, who are...

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

No, unfortunately it's not a forscan mod, as there's a physical wired connection that triggers the 6mph cutoff. However, it's a super easy mod. Basically, under your dash there's a plug. You add a simple jumper wire and boom, you're done. Here, a video is better than words:

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

If you have those factory ditch lights, it's a simple 20 minute job to override the 6mph cutoff. No need to waste money on aftermarket unless you want something brighter.

Full Size - Small Diesels: why so unpopular?

Nobody mentioned the fact that in the ford 3.0, the engineers decided to put a timing belt in it, vs. something more robust. I read of a lot of folks being scared off by that one when I was researching.

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

Was this all in a single truck? Maybe that engine had some problems....

Does a 230 mile/charge range make you more or less likely to buy a Lighning?

There was a trial in Isreal to promote the viability of hot-swappable batteries too, which failed. I can't remember the name I the company but I read about it in wired magazine about ten years ago. Although that trial deemed it not viable, I still think there's something there. Forklifts do it...

Cool Jeeps You Can't Have - Mahindra of India

I really like that last one you posted. I almost never, ever drive my cj5 with the top uncovered, but often take the sides off. I really like the soft top with the solid windows idea though!

Pop-up Suggestions Needed Like Super Pacific and GFC

I like that their product pics are of the exact bed length configuration that I have on my f150. Looks sharp, and is definitely now on my radar

"You Can't Get There From Here"; A Definition - Mitch's North Maine Woods Trip Report

Epic. Thanks for sharing. I grew up in Hudson NH, and love what NH and Maine have to offer as far as seclusion and "Yankee ingenuity".

    Best Jeep-Specific Online Forums?

I'm partial to earlycj5.com, but I doubt that's the right forum for what you're asking for ?

Exploring the highland tracks of Iceland with an EV

Hey, I just found this thread today. I'm very intrigued and really enjoyed your videos! Do you have any insight as to how the etron performed? Did you have any range anxiety? It sure looked rural where you traveled, and I wouldn't expect there to be anyone with the capability to recharge you...

Project Face Off: 1953 Willys Wagon on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Frame Restomod

I'm thinking of doing a cj6 body on a tj frame for my next build too. There's a guy that did it on the early cj5 forum and it came out awesome. @NORCALROOTS , this is such an awesome build, thanks for sharing.

Out with the old, in with the new...F-150.

Are those rims the sport ones or the raptor ones? I'm holding out for a set of raptor ones for my truck, but I haven't leveled or lifted it yet. You'll have to report how you like the Coopers! I had some bald ones on my older f250 that were still pretty decent, and the st maxxes that I swapped...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Has alucab installed one of these on an f150 yet? I know they just recently introduced the alucabin, but I've only seen a small handful of videos from overland expo and alucab about it (mounted on a ram). I haven't seen any expo members with one.

Pop-up Suggestions Needed Like Super Pacific and GFC

I sure like that snap outfitters topper! They're all priced about twice what I spend for what you get though. The GFC for instance, offers the RTT for around $4000, which is on the high end of RTT's. Then if you add a handful of extrusions that sort of equate to a leitner rack and some doors, it...

SOLD......2017 Ford Super Duty, King Ranch - AT HABITAT

Love this truck, I have the same interior in my 2016 f150 kr, and like it much more than the newer "Red-toned" kr leather. If I was in the market, I'd be ALL over this. Good luck with the sale.
