    badm0t0rfinger's 2014 Raptor build

Dumb question, do Raptors have rear blocks? And if so, you ditched those already I assume?

    Grenadier Pricing Announced

That sucks to hear about the houses. My experience with insurance, both on the claims side, and the afterwards construction/renovation side, is that most people aren't insured the way they think they are. Built a stripped down Gren on the builder, hit $99,9XX in short order and closed the...

    INEOS Grenadier

91k CAD, built a base model with some useful options, 99,900 basically. Domestic half ton for 64k is a steal in comparison.

    2024 North American Ranger unveiled

Is the new Ranger made with aluminum, and any lighter? I've been fiddling with the builders for Ford, Chevy, and Toyota. I can't build a truck I want/need in the half ton size for less than 60k CAD, and for the Chevy Colorado was still in the 50s, as was Frontier. I'm just waiting for the...

    GC Wj

Is Kolak still around?? The rear triangular swing arm has the ball joint in it and if it's rusty (like every WJ within 1000 miles of where I live) it's easier to replace the entire arm than trying to take it out and press.out the joint and put in a new one. They are OLD in general. Poor fuel...

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

How did those sliders mount?? Pinch seam and a couple kickers to the frame?

    INEOS Grenadier

Not that small shops can't do good work and technical work, but the shops listed under Bosch service centers in my city are like 1-2 bay shops, in older buildings. I think it's realistic they don't care about people in a dozen or more US states or the entirety of Canada outside the Vancouver and...

    INEOS Grenadier

So north of 100k CAD for a higher trim IG, with no listed service centers on the continent I live on. Where do I sign? Could get a stripped down work trim super cab heavy half from Ford for around 60 CAD, maybe a bit less. About 78K for a Supercab 6.75' bed Super Duty with a 7.3 V8 if I want...

    CB500X vs V-Strom 650XT vs KLR650 vs Tenere 700

I'd still lean towards the Suzuki 650. Nice middle of the road, all around useful bike. Edmonton roads are somewhat better than Winnipeg. A few months in and a 3-400cc bike will have you bored to tears and hating highway travel. If you are smart and conservative, which you come across as both...

    badm0t0rfinger's 2014 Raptor build

I don't recommend coming to Winnipeg if you come visit Canada, but if you do I'll buy you lunch and a few drinks! Enjoy the continued shake down runs and traveling!

So, anyone go and get a canyon or Colorado zr2 or even a more reasonable trail boss yet?

    Mazda CX-5 GTR/Signature or Toyota Rav4 Adventure/TRD

Just following up again to see how you are enjoying the CUV? Any fun pics of it? What has fuel economy been like with the skids and AT tires?

    Our Kingdom Camping Trailer Build

Ah. I use brass PEX fittings rather than copper in residential use, and most mainstream or higher volume campers I've seen use the plastic PEX fittings (for better or worse who knows but probably for cost) I forget how involved you are in this build sometimes lol.

Trail Marker Up and Out with Wet Bath by Rollingstar MFGing

Shakedown voyage always nice to do in a campground. Less stress if things go wrong there than backcountry. What level pads are those? I thought they were up turned bucket for a minute. Loving the load bearing fender you can put a cooler on and the what seemed to me high quality outdoor shelf...

    Our Kingdom Camping Trailer Build

Maybe goes to a drain? It's not a low point tho. That's a lot of shark bite fittings. $$. I wonder what the purpose of those are, unless it saves enough labour to justify. Would make future service easier as you can disconnect those easily.

Anyone with a Ram1500 with the Pentastar 3.6?

It's not the same, but similar: I drove a 2014 F150 with the 3.7 NA V6. Most of the 8 years I had it, was on 255/80R17 or 34x10.5R17 tires, with a topper, skid plates, and always stuff in it. I also took it on a 13,000km road trip towing a 5000# trailer. 6 speed automatic, no select shift...
