Quadvan still does lots and lots of E series Ford vans, as much as I love my Transit the new Cutaway with the Godzilla mount I checked out at the shop was crazy cool. Give Quadvan a call and ask about them doing your 4wd conversion.

That approach angle is really nice, the cab over style visibility would be great on the trail also. Now just get more range and we can start talking......300 actual off road miles vs 200 highway

Hey Paul, You know my busted back and 1 leg have always made the highway part of travel worse than the offroad. The Scheel Mann seats in my van have made a huge life changing difference. They will be the seats that go into every rig in the future. Glad you are also loving yours.

Dang someone else enjoyed KofA :) Just kidding we really like the entire Quartzite area for our winter desert trips, so many old mine ruins and homesteads. Next time get your kid over to the Castle Dome Mine Museum, so many buildings for him to check out he will spend hours there.

I have owned National Luna, ARB, Engel, and Dometic, and used them all over and over for seats and steps. They are plenty strong.
