Paint Chip
RichardPT, I'm interested in other members opinions - do the more expensive trailers have more durable paint application? Is there a better way to protect the vulnerable areas from harsh "off-roading" environment
It happened to my M416 also, the secret Mud flaps on the tow unit. =brian
If you used PhotoBucket there's a good chance files are inaccessible unless you pay for their $400.premium service. I have heard bad things about PB. I think it time for the site monitors to stop accepting PhotoBucket pic???
I have a 2008 N/S 650 and did not know that under cab was fiberglass. Contact N/S factory see if they have any idea's. A thin piece of alum from Home Depot would work? good luck=brian
Now is the time to enjoy your new toy. thanks for the "attaboy".
]This is a great thread with great and useful ideas. My wife and I just picked up a 2008 Northstar MC600 and we love it so far, and just getting started. Great ideas here.
time to use this M416 trailer
Due to illness I have not used the trailer in 2 years. It sat in the yard uncovered and the paint faded, time to touch-up and get on the road again.
I remember back in 2013 you was looking for a Northstar 650, It's easy to make a few Mods and make it more livably. I leave mine on the truck all year.check out my battery idea.on my thead

Well my overheating problem is fixed, replaced the water pump, changed the thermostat, replaced the temp sensor, went on the MRV up @ big bear.
still loving this Chevy truck & NS 650.
You can weld it, but is easy with the tub removed. You must remove the front drain as it sits on the new beam, I just cut a 2x2" around the frt drain and welded a plate over the hole I cut. Just FYI=brian
