When the outside temperature is in the triple digits, it sure would be nice to park up in the shade and place the panels away from the vehicle out in the sun.
Consider working a portable solar panel option into your design.
For camping I like to use a Dolphin hand pump mounted on water cooler bottles. I've refilled the bottles at campgrounds or exchanged them at Walmart during a food run.

For my Mainland Mexico trip, I downloaded from iOverlander's web site all the places people have reported to stay at in Mexico. The file can then be imported into Garmin Basecamp to view and use for route planning.

Being registered as a motor home isn't the same as being titled as a motor home. The GVWR falling into the commercial category can also be an issue.
