    Interior wall/ceiling covering

Thinking ahead, coroplast on the walls or even ceilings might be supported by other elements used in the project. Window frames, valances, light fixtures, curtains/shades, speaker facings, hooks/hangers, and various trim pieces all go on top of a wall covering or under the ceiling and will hold...

Mounting E-Track to an Econoline E-350 van for Bed Platform?

Use Riv nuts, my E250 had e-track with that system, attached to the ribs. It was even to the rear/side door latches inside. E track has several types of hangers, one type has an L with 2 steel rods pointing out to the interior, these are designed to hold electrical cords or hoses wound up or...

Will Jeep and Ram Truck Prices Take a Steep Dive Soon?

I've got a bad taste in my mouth with our Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk, when the light turns green it has to think about going, mpg isn't near what they claimed, had to replace a couple coils around 60,xxx miles and when it's time to change the oil it just shuts off leaving you stranded on the road...

    Watches.......the other type!

I think Timex made the U.S. Military issued watch, I use to wear one. Seiko has kept me on time for over 50 years, driving, diving, motorcycle vibration and daily wear. A nice Boliva for dressy occasions at the bar. :)

    Toyota Losing it's Mojo?

Then you make over $400,000.00 a year before that tax is applied to you and you should be able to buy any overlanding rig you want, so, good for you. It would be nice if all vehicles sold in the US were made in the US, but they aren't now and that can't happen in just a few months, it could...

    Toyota Losing it's Mojo?

Americans in the United States have an election and after that, according to what is being promised by one Canidate there will be tariffs placed on all imports, Chinese stuff at 100%, 20+% on imported vehicles, this would also include parts. A tariff in the US can be put in place by the...

    Toyota Losing it's Mojo?

Toyota is a big deal in Overlanding. EP rules allow politics to be discussed only to the extent as being related to overlanding. ECONOMICS IS NOT POLITICS! Please don't make unrelated political comments, but just understand the cost of overlanding could go way up soon...

Sleeping in vehicle in black bear country (what to do with food)

Reply not working; Does it matter if a person is sleeping in the car? Depends on how hungry the bear is!

@mog Thank you! I must have missed that picture. Really like the green feet showing the path to enter. I like the fact you could set your beer down on that spare after a beer run and unlock the door!

    ducks?

Got'em here in Southwest Mo., it's a Jeep thing, owners give them to other owners, they are collected, our Jeep Cherokee has found a few on the roof above the driver's door and on the hood by the windshield. Why? I have no idea. We just pass them along to another Jeep.

Any full size regular cab 6.5 bed trucks?

Generally, your truck won't be worth more than it is today. Lipstick on a pig might make your life happier but not so for others. Retiring living on one paycheck from the wife? And you think going into debt to buy a new Bronco is a good idea? Really? My son has that Bronco model, for older...

    Interior wall/ceiling covering

Coroplast is tuff stuff! I have some I use for odd jobs/covers but I know of a 4x8 sheet that is the backing for an outdoor sign, it's been up for 12+ years! I don't know how you could hurt that stuff inside of a camper. ABS is good, but can crack, chip and break, I'd say fairly tuff stuff but...

heavy steel bumper vs oem bumper damage

Cost a lot less to drive more carefully! I agree with Gator 70, OEM bumpers are cheap to replace. Now, if what you really want is to try and look ************ at a stop light, I'd begin with a different truck, it will look better stock.
