It’s really more a three part question: 1) Can it be shipped to the US? 2) Can it make it past an inspection by the import police/Homeland Security? 3) Can it be licensed and insured? We know the answer to #3 is no, it cannot be registered for on-road use in the US. I’m not sure about #2.

Try Progressive. They have a pretty full selection of campers they’ll insure, but not certain if they cover truck campers.

Interesting, that’s definitely not been my experience and conflicts with what I follow related to importing Land Rovers. However, the importation system is not perfect/exact. Defender importers doing LS swaps are generally having the engine swap done in the US after the restoration work is...

Great rig. Gven that the engine has been swapped, isn’t that an automatic knock out for import into the US? My understanding is that frame and engine have to match exactly how the vehicle rolled off the assembly line (however, engine does not need to be numbers matching).

Hey folks, I’m trying to figure out the brand/manufacturer of the trailer in the pics. Current owner believes that the trailer was built in South Africa, but he bought it second hand so I can’t be 100% certain that’s accurate. The pictures I posted are the extent of what I have at the moment...

I haven’t looked, but doesn’t the Rivian website have the specs? Smaller than a Tacoma??? Bummer, if that’s the case.
