    Hawk 4WK

15k would be what I'd expect to pay, if it is 'mint' as the seller claims. It is missing a hot water heater, which given the other options is unfortunate. Sink is in a bad spot too if you use the bed in the extended position.

Ram 2500 gasoline extended gas tank help

Clay at XO talks about the Brown Davis tank in his Prospector starting at ~12:00 in: There are some pretty good shots of it underneath, and looking at how it is multi-tapered to the rear, it does look promising.

Quadrasteer Worked So Great for Chevy, Right? Now Maybe It’s the F250’s Turn

But this is a Ford design patent, so you're good with all things Ford. No?

Ram 2500 gasoline extended gas tank help

What are you confused about? Maybe if you read the first post by the OP then you wouldn't be confused? But none the less, thanks for the fun facts. At this point, I think that the only under bed options are the Brown Davis or a custom fab'd unit like it. The Titan spare tire offering looks...

Ram 2500 gasoline extended gas tank help

Ok, put original sender into what tank? There isn't an OEM one that is bigger. The Titan tanks are only for long beds, and their spare tire tank would be turned into a sieve off-road. The 45/5500 are CC flat frames. Am I missing something? Apparently you know something we don't so do share.

Ram 2500 gasoline extended gas tank help

Well, at BM said, the domestic makers of the aux diesel tanks would also fit. It would be back to sender compatibility and plumbing. As to the interchange of the plastic OEM tanks, really doesn't help much as the bigger tanks on the 4500/5500 are on a different frame.

Ram 2500 gasoline extended gas tank help

Sent a message to Brown Davis. I will update this thread if I get a response. I'm bet they will say 'no'. I'm sure their tank will fit, just apprehensive on cost and fuel sender. Plumbing can always be sorted out. They just Y off the stock filler hose so both tanks are filled at the same time in...

Ram 2500 gasoline extended gas tank help

Had to move the arms out due to the FWC, all while getting rid of that hot **** mess that was the Eped1 latch. I think you were in on that debacle.

Ram 2500 gasoline extended gas tank help

I've thought about the BD tank as well. Not sure what the cost would be, or cost to get it here even if it would work. The sender/pump would probably not be gas friendly... Might be just cheaper to have a fabricator, that is not concerned with DOT regs, just make one here. Going to talk to the...

Maybe because they realize that they are best suited to what Ford designed them for, ********************** across the desert.

IFS trucks are limited on available range by nature unfortuanly. But, by releasing that front bar, it also means you can keep more pressure on rear tires longer too. Remember, the goal is to keep the feet planted as much as possible.

Somethings telling me you really don't use your PW as its intended, or at least like I do mine here in the South West. Disconnecting that SB allows it to articulate. Articulate as well as my 80 which is saying a lot. (they both have pretty much the same suspension design and one of the main...

Well good to hear! Just think of all the money I just saved you. A new Raptor. Pfft! As a side note, that swaybar disco, will only unlock while not under torsional load, so if that front axle isn't pretty much on the same plane as the frame, it won't disconnect. (or reconnect for that matter)

I'm not familiar with how the GM system works. It may or may not give positive indication that the differential is in fact locked, rather power has been given to the actuator to initiate engagement. There would have to be a method, as in the AAM axles, to let the system know that the dogs have...

Have you ever had them not engage when you need them to, as in you have a wheel spinning when it shouldn't be? I think guys fixate on the little Blinky lights too much. I've not read (though haven't cared enough to search) of anyone saying that the locker(s) failed to engage and left them stuck...

You've complained about this on Power Wagon Registry for awhile now, and yet you know that it is a $450 fix with Able Components plug and play controller that will let you engage the lockers anytime in hi or lo range. You can also control your swaybar at will which I helped David prototype. Not...

It will be higher with the Cummins. With my PW, loaded with the FWC Hawk I get between 10-12 mpg. Now, I assume your question to be strictly range on a tank. Not total cost of ownership on the debate issue.
