This is my third build on an overland vehicle. My first was a 2004 Discovery which was a great learning platform. My second a fully restored 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 NAS which was a masterpiece. My third and perhaps the greatest overland vehicle I've ever owned a 2014 Wrangler Rubicon. I...
Thanks! I don't know about the light bar because I never got into that. I'm sure AEV would know that. I really like the AEV hood because of the heat reduction. Fit and finish are excellent also. I recommend it. I'm sure the stubby antenna would work but I don't know for sure as I have the...
Well it's true that the ARB system does not allow access to the cubby. But I have access from the fridge mount side. Really no big deal but I could image this being an issue if you have dual drawers. I think this set up is ideal.
So after a few weeks of using the rear drawer system...I decided to switch to an ARB drawer. It is just a little tighter and allowed for more room. The AT system is really nice and likely a better use of the space but the ARB Outback system fits my needs better. I obviously still kept the AT...
Should I change the transmission and transfer case with the Amsoil signature equivalent also? I mean I'm doing everything else on the truck with the diffs now. Thanks for the advise.
Guys,
I have a 2014 JK Rubicon Unlimited that frequently tows a heavy Chaser trailer. Should I switch the rear diff to 75W-140 oil as the owners manual states. I use all Amsoil signature fluids but haven't switched anything yet as the truck only has 1,900 miles on it. Whats the suggested...
Okay so I finally got the JK Drawer system from AT Overland. I also got their Partner Stove and awesome 10lbs propane bottle kit for the Chaser trailer. Install was fun and easy. Everything is incredibly tight...I was expecting even the slightest rattle. Nothing. The composite materials are...
I have the 730N in my 2014 and I think it's excellent. The XM weather is awesome and when I outgrow it I'll stuff something else in there. Bluetooth audio streaming is fantastic and sounds great with the 900 w Focal audio system I installed.
200A is overkill. Unless you have two winches and a ton of power hungry accessories....no not like a fridge...then the normal solenoid is really all you will ever need.
I highly recommend the Genesis offroad dual battery set up...link from my build thread.

Done. I installed the Genesis Offroad Dual Battery Kit.
This thing is the best dual battery system I have ever seen. It's incredibly intelligent and well thought out. It works exactly as advertised which you would expect. What's awesome about this product is the fit an finish. Everything...
Installed the AEV seat covers today across the entire truck. They are by bar the best fitting highest quality seat cover I have ever used. The material is perfect. I did the wretched German Shepherd dog hair test and it's amazing how hair won't penetrate the cordura fibers. The install was a...
