Another set... the angle not working well or ?
Also... what happened with the batt. location ? I need you to guinea pig this part out... then I'll be able to figure out what I need to do... or not do: ylsmoke:
Looks great...
Agree with Box Rocket X 5... I dig the similar body lines... I dig the old ponies... I might have gone a foot longer to actually sleep IN it, but I'm taller & with length comes trail concerns... cool set up.
How about a batt. or two up in the space between the bedside & bed itself... some type...
While I'm NO ! where near the build point many folks are I too see an issue with the tire under the trailer... I envision my draw bar/tongue in the dirt often. I'm quite positive that I'll be wanting more departure angle also so the rear bumper will be almost a skid system as well. I guess if...
Looks like the main spring is too short OR the spring mounts F & R are too far apart... maybe shorten the mount that's bolted to the bottom of the frame... the shackle should be canted to the rear a bit as opposed to inline with the arc of the springs... as dmc1 mentioned...
Also it appears...
I've always had a like'n for the CJ-6... A few local guys ran them WAy back in the 70s...
I'd love to get one & 4 link the front... make the longer rides a little more comfortable...
Cool JEEP... have fun with it...
Curt
X3 While I don't run one of their product I have 4 friends who have them on JKs & TJs... from several months to a decade...
They are modular so ax the $$ comes available you can add to the carrier...
Curt
Well that a bit of a bummer... I thought Mark Smith did it in 1979 (??) in a group of JEEP CJ-7s and it was the first since the French (??) Army MANY MANY years ago...
Wild stuff... tough little cars the cars were starting to show the effects in Pt II...

Well living in the HOT desert and having used them in the past I like many have had issues with expansion... the leaky nozzles... and leaks from the caps... so the tighter the better...
I was able to lessen the cap leaks with my long trusty 2 ft. screwdriver, little leverage on the ears... that...
I really don't know what they weigh... I think that's the capacity, but it definitely weighs more the your current one. Mark Harley has the nice red one, I'm sure he knows the weight.
How about a coat or two of bedliner on the roof...
Curt
THANKS !!! Well done...
Concerning the "sagging" I was wondering if there was much (if any) and I was referring in my setup I had fewer support legs...
The bike channel mounts help I bet also...
Concerning the floor I definitely want to remove it from side to side just so I CAN ! stand up...
HOLY !! CRAP !!!
I have drawings from a year or so ago of the truck bed trailer I'd like to put together... 7' X 16' I believe... EXACT same Coleman modified dome tent (the green & white bugs me)... 97% the same decks and such... I can't believe it... thanks for the R & B & T so to speak...
It's coming along nice... I'm wondering if the... the... crap... the 101 what is the designation # ?? (the bigger 1.5 ton mil. trailer) would make the perfect platform for this setup... especially with the wider JK...
Wonder if having the F & R walls bifold might help with raising the lid...
I too have been drawing up trailers with various tents on a platform... on the trailer...
I've always thought your trailer had a nice fit & finish for your rig.
Was the tent overnighted in ??
"Daddy's Crew" HA !! enjoy it while you're still "daddy"
Curt
In the desert OVER cooling the oil is pretty hard to do... I used Perma Cool stuff for the Oil & Trans. admittedly tube & fin but it HAS to help... I couldn't find a stacked plate with a true 1" core...
The space between the grill & condenser is MINIMAL... tube & fin allowed an easier fitment...
