    mercedes 614 brake disc replacement

For our Vario 814 it's straigth forward. 2 bolts for removing the pads and another 2 bolds for the padholder (or how do jo say this). Than the disk can be taken off and replaced. We don't have disks in the rear. But it's not that difficult to open the brakes at the rear although you have to...

With most vehicles, the chassis is fixed to the back axle(s) by leafsprings. This creates a point of minimal twist. In the front you often have independ suspension most of the time, which alows twist of the chassis. Mercedes has building guidelines for al it's vehicles that you can download from...

DRD4-7R, a Finnish adventure truck project -blog

The minimum twist of the chassis is at the back axle. So you can place a pivot at the back and in the front, but not at the back axle. The further away you go from the back axle (either direction) the bigger the twist of the chassis is. This is normally indicated in the building guidelines from...

New suspension seats fitted in the cab. Which brand are these seats and where did you buy them? We are also planning to change the seats in the front (3 places now and willing to replace them by 2 suspensions seats in the future) Nice job by the way! Ulrich

Toyo or Michelin for Mercedes vario 814 4X4

For me, the vehicle is driving much better with the bigger wheels. More stable and you drive 90 km/h at 1800 t/min, so lower fuell consumption. The ratios feel well spaced and we are certainly not changing gear more frequently as before. The total hight of our vehicle is 3,70 m. I would...

No, no cutting needed for us in the metal. Only adjusting the plastic a bit and fixing the spats with a little chain to te step so they can't get caught by the wheel. Ours is from 1998. And this is only incase of for offroad tracks, because on the road there was no problem at all.
