Ah much questions about the wiring. Let's see if this will help. The bottom line is that the wire just runs right through the flap at the hinge. My initial testing has been satisfactory. There's a junction in the main power wire where each of the 4 LED strips plugs into for some juice...

If you're only looking at the Eezi-Awn, you could certainly add more supports that flip down and extend just like the ladder. The mammoth 2200 has two ladders, though. Look at the Technitop tents, too. The base isn't plywood. If you didn't have 3.5, a hardshell tent like the Maggiolina would...

Good question. I purchased the clever box from AT - their box uses that same locking outlet you posted from Cabella's. As it turns out, it's only 1/6400ths the size of an actual pool table. Pictures on the web sure are deceiving.
