Very cool pics. You might like these tie downs from Erickson. I use them in my 6x10 cargo trailer/camper. They go in front and back of the tire. Once you drive over them, the ATV is in exactly the right spot. Just strap down the rear tires and you are ready to roll. The straps un-clip when...
Any time I had to drop the transmission/t-case i would replace the all of the clutch components and thoroughly inspect the pressure plate. It's too much work to leave in old parts.
I clip a short leash (less than 2') to the child safety seat point at the top of the back seat. It's long enough for him to stand up, turnaround, and lay down again, but short enough to keep him in the back seat.
I have built several racks for both inside and outside jeeps. I have always may them too heavy. I would eliminate the upper rails. You will never put anything up there without lashing it down, so the upper rail does do much. I have been welding u-bolt attachment points to recent projects...
I am looking at at a used cab over box truck with a 16' box. It has a Maxon 1650lb lift gate. I have never owned/ used a lift gate before. The gate is only 30" deep. Could I weld outriggers off the platform to support the front end of my rzr. The rzr weighs ~1000lbs. If I back it on the platform...
I am looking at a 3" leveling kit that includes a 1' spacer in the rear for my 13 Tundra. I am also looking at 285/75R18 tires. They measure 35", so I am okay height wise, but if I keep my factory wheels will I have clearance issues?
Thats the dilemmam, neither the existing USB prot or the (2) 12v outlets are hot with the key off. On the older trucks you could jumper a relay but not so here. I am gong to a pick and pull and grabbing a factory USB port to try and make this work and look stock
This is for my 2013 tundra. I have been looking at options to have constant un-keyed power. I have 3 blanks in the dash than will take this port. This is not a switch, you open the cover to access the port. This is the direct factory replacement, I just want to add a second one and wire it...
That is really nice! They did anice job. You might be able to loose the tounge box, extend the tounge by a foot or so, then put the bike on sideways in front of the living quarters. You could move heavy items to the rear or add counter weight underneath to get your tounge weight were you need it?
First time on a 4x4 forum?;) He's lucky that thing doesn't have a dana 35 axle!
I looked hard for a decent Scamp to do just this, but had no luck and went with a cargo trailer
