If I remember correctly, there were two new bolts. The original factory bolt had a body that was nearly the size of the bolt head. The first replacement bolt had the same size head with a slimmer body. The second replacement bolt was shortened, eliminating the bolt body almost entirely.

I ran a pair of Aisin manual hubs on my 95 LS for about 6 years. As far as I know, all the Aisin manual hubs for Mitsubishi's are interchangable. I have 7 Mitsubishi manual hubs from various years. They are all identical.

I admit I haven't researched this part number in particular. I have seen some part numbers replaced by new parts with new part numbers. Maybe someone knows something about these parts in particular.

You may also want to check the master cylinder cap. There is a diaphragm in the cap that can invert and cause the float to be pushed down.
