Beautiful Photos. I follow the Facebook Post of "Wild Horses of Sand Wash Basin". Such dedication by several of these people.

    My Journey

There is a place called Wild Horses of Sand Wash Basin in that general area. Hundreds of Wild Horses. Several people have followed these horses, photos, names, calendars, etc. Then the BLM claimed no water no food, and with helicopters rounded up large numbers and shipped them off to inhumane...

Makoshika State Park is another dinosaur archaeological site. We spent 3 days camping and exploring. The dinosaur museum in Glendale happened to be closed during the week. The caves were interesting. Got to see petroglyphs of the Freemont's at Capitol Reef NP. The history of this is so amazing...

Another photo of the Winds. Having the campground to yourself is the best. We sold our camper Sunday and take delivery of an Oliver Travel Trailer with off road capability, but not like the Four Wheel Camper. Our F250 will become your jeep.

    My Journey

Coming from the south in 2016, we stopped at the brewery in Pinedale for lunch and beers, then headed through Cora up around the North end of the Winds to Green River Lakes, camping at the Forest Service campground. The drive out of Cora was bumpy and maybe 1/1/2 hours. For one night the views...

    My Journey

We loved the Winds, coming from the South. A long and bumpy road to a beautiful view of the lake and Winds. The campground (USFS) was empty and free. The Continental Divide Trail works it's way along the lake.

    My Journey

I love the Tetons. My screen saver has the historic barn with the Tetons in the background, taken along Mormons Row. I was so glad we decided to head South after Old Faithful and spend a little time in the Tetons. However, with that said, the day we were there may have been the last day of...

    My Journey

Wow! Didn't realize I was behind. The cabin looks amazing. I figured you would hit the road. Seeing the pictures of Yellowstone was awesome. Having just spent 4 days driving all over, to each gate and we saw Old Faithful. We have a knack of showing up 10 minutes before it erupts, and even...

Snow capped mountains are the best. The views of the mountains was the worst I have ever seen, while we were in Montana, due to the smoke. Your pictures bring a big smile to my face?

    My Journey

Ha! I want the mountains. My wife is a native Texan (San Antonio) and UT grad. Every March we return to Texas for 3-4 weeks. It gets harder leaving for her leaving to return to Indiana. Mountains and Texas will never happen. Children and Grandkids will keep us in Indiana until the end.

    My Journey

Funny, I spent 2 hours yesterday removing decals on our camper in anticipation of selling after the first of the year. Some of that adhesive took 3-4 tried before I got it off, washed and waxed. Well that task is complete. The house is looking great.

    My Journey

The 6 weeks was a bit long, the 6,000 miles not an issue, except fuel costs were absurd. Think I paid a high of just over $4/gallon once. $2,200+/- in fuel costs doubled my trip fuel budget. A big change will be coming. We placed an order for an Oliver Travel Trailer. We will have 340W of solar...

    My Journey

Got home last Saturday, 6105 miles and 6 weeks. Too long. We visited the National Bison Range when we were in Polson and the smoke was bad. I'm afraid this will be an annual occurance. The cabin is looking great, and what can I say about the pups??. Sarah went to the groomer today. She was so...

    My Journey

Well I'm caught up and have WiFi to boot. Left Yellowstone early today, taking the Beartooth Hwy. to just outside Red Lodge. The smoke was really bad. Most of our time in Yellowstone saw pretty clear skies, except yesterday where we could barley make out the Absaroka Mountains. Today provided no...

Jerry, headed to Montana Tuesday. The first fire domino fell this afternoon. 6 days of my Finley Point (Flathead Lake State Park) were cancelled by the new Boulder Fire on the East side of the lake. Wind direction changed, moving in a westerly direction, and the fire exploded moving across the...
